Trauma therapy is really hard, but so worth it!! I had even considered stopping with the sessions. Looking back, I can say that being at my lowest at the beginning of my journey was my changing point.

I was in art school in 2015, a year interchange in budapest. being away from friends and family was very difficult and I couldn’t help but fall into a deep depressed state… but I used to have a roomate who was so kind. She helped me through those times so much. She saw I wasn’t eating of going out to buy groceries so she would call me to have breakfast or go to the supermarket together. I miss her so much! You remind me of her. She wasn’t an artist, but your voice reminds me of hers (and she is german as well). Love your videos! Always come back here to listen to you, it’s so soothing. Recently I thought about rearranging my work schedule, so that the first thing I do in the mornings is to work at my own projects (like making art). But even though I‘m self employed and have some liberties, something in me is so upset about the idea. It‘s so hard to allow myself to work on my things first, before I work for my clients. well well well …
As I also tend to isolate myself too much, but I picked up Archery half a year ago and it‘s done so many great things for me! Firstly it‘s really fun and I never miss training sessions and I look forward to it every time. Then, it also makes me leave the house and surround myself with other people at the training session. But it‘s also such a wonderful and mindful way of moving your body. It‘s active meditation if you think about it. You have to stay really grounded and in the moment. I always feel so good after ❤🏹
